Nothing can be more intimidating than to be the victim of an adverse incident in a country that you visit and you don't know where to go for assistance. 

Fact is there is no database of tourist related incidents in more than 99 percent of all countries in the world. The governments are just too scared to implement such a incident management system. Until then little can be done to rectify the performance gap. This despite the fact that more than 99 percent of all institutions dont comply in the least with the occupatonal health and safety act alone.
